Community Wellness in Nature. A Low Power Happy Hour Event.
May 8 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Did you know that spending just 18 minutes outside every day can improve your physical and mental health? Join us on May 8, to learn from a panel of experts who will share their perspectives on the health benefits of nature, while also addressing the importance of preserving and protecting the environment for the well-being of ecosystems and communities.
As part of this discussion, participants will get an early look at the Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park’s upcoming Nature Rx program, which aims to improve the health and well-being of our community through programming that utilizes the positive health benefits of nature.
Following the discussion, participants will have the option to join expert-led activities that incorporate the healing benefits of nature, including a mindfulness walk, yoga, and a gardening activity (provided in partnership with Summit County Master Gardeners).
