Join us this season at Happy Days Lodge as we explore the roots of American music. On Saturday, Feb. 17, 2024, make it a special date night with dinner and then enjoy the exciting sounds of Chris Coles’ Confluence! Come early to enjoy a catered meal before the concert or attend the concert only.

About Chris Coles’ Confluence

Chris Coles’ Confluence is a jazz group that turns all the rules of genre on its head. Each member of the group brings their own unique life experiences and musical influences to create an exciting sound that is accessible to all audiences, mature and young alike.

The music Chris assembled for the evening was inspired by his friends, mentors, civil rights leaders, and loved ones. The group was assembled this way to showcase the broad array of people and cross sections in the arts community. What’s even better is when people from different generations can all come to a musical situation and use their language in music to say something profound as a group, hence the name of the group, Confluence.

The dinner & concert price includes dinner, wine/beverage pairings and concert ticket.

• Harvest Salad: (veg, gf) seasonal greens, crumbled clothbound cheddar, honey crisp
  apples, crunchy celery, pickled red onion, crispy fried quinoa, champagne vinaigrette
•  Entrée: whole confit chicken leg with buttermilk & bright herb sauce finished with micro greens and served with the following sides:
  • • roasted winter squash date labneh
    • spiced herb tahini, toasted walnuts, pomegranate arils
    • puy lentil & barley confit cherry tomatoes, fresh herbs, charred lemon
    • roasted Brussel sprouts tossed in burnt miso butter
• Vegan option available by request
• Dessert: brown butter fig bar, dark chocolate brownie bite, lemon curd tartlet

Roots of American Music (ROAM) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to integrate music and education in Northeast Ohio to create vibrant communities through art and vibrant art through community.  ROAM uses traditional American music as a tool for education, social change, and community building.  ROAM offers music programs for schools, libraries, senior centers, veteran’s groups, and other community settings.
