Modern Farming and Conservation in CVNP. A Low Power Happy Hour Event.

January 10 @ 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Two black horses in a field.

Join us Jan. 10, 2024, for a conversation with Mark Trapp on modern farming and conservation in Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The 30-acre Trapp Family Farm is a mixed crop and livestock farm powered by draft horses since its inception in 2012. Eggs, produce, and meat are sold seasonally at the farm. Learn more about the farm and its plans for the future.

The Trapp Family Farm is part of the Countryside Initiative farms within the park. Countryside is a nonprofit that partners with the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, leasing existing farmsteads in the park to locals who practice sustainable farming.
