Join us for networking, cocktails, and a discussion with Cleveland Parks & Greenspace Coalition (CPGC) Coordinator Tait Ferguson and Steering Committee Member India Hobbs. They will discuss how CPGC centers residents in the development of the new Parks and Recreation Department and implementation of the city-wide parks and greenspace comprehensive plan. Tait and India will discuss how recent EPA funding will advance CPGC’s work for the next three years and ensure two-way communication between the City of Cleveland and residents.

About CPGC
CPGC was first organized in 2020 with the intent to ensure equitable parks and greenspace development was front and center in Cleveland’s 2021 mayoral race. Since then, CPGC has convened hundreds of residents, community leaders, nonprofits, and many other stakeholders via Learning Exchanges, Park Advocate Nights, park pop-ups, and more. Their goal is to empower residents, advance equity, and improve transparency in Cleveland’s parks, greenspace, and recreation ecosystem.
