Trash Fish: Making a Difference in Our Community Waterways
April 10 @ 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Event Navigation
Join us April 10 for a discussion with Eddie Olschansky, founder of Trash Fish, on the best ways to support our freshwater resources.
Trash Fish is a Cleveland based organization dedicated to the health, safety, and accessibility of the Cuyahoga River. The organization provides volunteer opportunities for community members to use their fleet of free kayaks to help remove some of the 22 million pounds of plastic waste that enters the Great Lakes every year.
Eddie will discuss the past and present stressors facing our community’s waterways such as single-use plastics, zero-use plastics as well as the best ways to support our community’s most important natural and recreational resource, our fresh water.
