Volunteers-In-Parks Open House

Are you interested in volunteering in CVNP? Join us at the Volunteers-in-Parks (VIP) Open House on February 18 from 1:00 – 3:30pm at Happy Days Lodge. Come any time and talk to current volunteers, National Park Service (NPS), Conservancy for CVNP, and Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad (CVSR) staff about how you can make a difference. 

With over 20 different assignments to choose from, there are plenty of ways to get involved! 

Join Adopt-a-Trail volunteers on a sweep to help ensure trails are clear and safe. Work with CVNP’s Resource Management team to collect data about various wildlife in the park with a Citizen Science opportunity. Be part of the Special Events Team and help at concerts or other events to make sure they run smoothly. These are just a few of the several opportunities we have available.
