PROGRAM LEADER
Kevin is a program coordinator at the Education Center where he focuses on developing summer, scout, and special weekend programs. He spends all year brainstorming fun adventures, games, and other ideas to make your child’s experience in Cuyahoga Valley National Park unforgettable, fun and enriching. Kevin joined our staff in March of 2016 and has worked in camp leadership and program development at the Madden Outdoor Education Center and Tall Pines Day Camp. He lives in the national park, and he loves to travel, explore new trails, and sit around the campfire with friends.
LOCATION
All scout programs take place at the Cuyahoga Valley Environmental Education Center in northeast Ohio. The Education Center is located at 3765 Oak Hill Road, Peninsula, OH, 44264, within the boundaries of Cuyahoga Valley National Park – about a 30-minute drive from Cleveland and a 25-minute drive from Akron.
ACCOMMODATIONS
Scouts and chaperones stay in one of the two campuses at the Education Center or have the option of camping on the lawn. Both campuses offer dormitory-style living. Multiple rooms accommodate up to 64 – two to eight bunk beds per room and shower facilities.
