Get to Know Lisa Petit, Superintendent of CVNP

Earlier this year, Lisa Petit was named the superintendent of Cuyahoga Valley National Park. She’s the first woman to serve as the park’s superintendent since its establishment in 1974. Before taking on this role, Lisa spent her 21-year NPS career working in a variety of leadership positions in CVNP, including wildlife biologist and chief of resource management.

Conservancy President and CEO, Deb Yandala, sat down with Lisa to talk about her history as a resource manager, the national park experience, and what made her want to take on the role of superintendent.
